| 詳 細 | (This may well be related to 01868, but as that report was closed, I offer this report as a possible solution) In Road Runner (and clones), a total of four player input buttons are listed in the 'Input (This Game)' section of the MAME UI (Three 'P1' buttons, and a 'P2 Start' button) when, in fact, this game uses only two buttons, with a third button input option that is unused in the cabinet (if I understand correctly, the third button option is used to test the PCB outside the cabinet). I understand that the Player 1 and Player 2 Start buttons double as "Hop' buttons during gameplay, so I would submit that the following changes be made to the labels of the button inputs for this game, and it's clones - 'P1 Start/Hop' 'P2 Start/Hop' 'Service Button (Unused)' <Remove the extra 'P2 Start' button> Applying this label scheme to other games where a 'Player Start' button doubles as an 'Action' button during game play will help to avoid confusion in the future. | ||||
| 再現手順 | Start the game. Enter the 'Input (This Game) section of the UI. Note the controls. Start a 2 player game (oddly, 'P1 Button 2' which should act as a 'P2 Start' button does not function as such. Note that "P1 Button 1' and 'P2 Start' both act as "Hop' Buttons while 'P1 Button 2' and 'P1 Button 3' do nothing. | ||||
